The Care You Deserve

Adoptee work is our niche. As adoptees, we know that fellow adoptees and adoptive families need specialized care to build connection.

The Adoptee Collective will soon be a private practice offering Marriage & Family Therapy and based in Nairobi, Kenya.

Therapuetic Care

Find support with an experience-led expert and adoptee Marriage & Family Therapist. Individual, child-play, couples, family, and group therapy allow adoptees and adoptive families to gain deeper understanding and validation. Build safety so your sense of belonging can flourish.

Neurofeedback

This non-invasive approach retrains the brain to function at its highest potential. Improved sleep, ADHD, anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, organic brain injuries, and migraines are just a few of the instabilities which Neurofeedback can target. Train your brain and live the life you want.

Family Camp

Keep watch for upcoming family camps where meanigful connection is made through therapuetic activities, pychoeducative parent classes, and child/adolescent groups. Choose between a 3-day intensive or weekly sessions over 10-weeks.

Group Training

Book a group training virtually or in-person. We are continually developing new courses and we are able to build a customized training for specific needs.

“Giving our kids a tool to help them create their life story has granted them freedom and control they didn’t necessarily have before. Helping us see how we can come alongside them to be a loving truth teller gave us the vantage point we need as adoptive/foster parents. This training was superb for any caregiver, no matter where you are in the journey!”

“Our group benefited greatly from Heather’s insights throughout this adoption education training. So thankful for the personal touches she put on this topic, as that made it more relevant to our families in the trenches. She was awesome! Best kickoff for our adoption support group! ”
